Rhymes and toilet observations

Drifting
Inspired by Valerie

I am a sailor lost at sea,
Too many suns that I can't see
The road ahead or what's around;
The waves are roaring but there's not a sound.

(2.14 p.m. 6 Feb, ISKL)

Beginnings
For Elensha

There are times when life takes you by surprise,
The unexpected moment greeted with starstruck eyes;
Arms wrapped 'round in a warm embrace,
Face to face in a fleeting gaze
As the moment bursts into comic relief;
Surprise, surprise like a thief,
Not to rob but to give,
Full in richness and spontaneity
From now on till eternity.

(1.05 a.m. 7 Feb, Pokok Tanjung)

Misconception
Inspired by Prof Susan

I was buried in a cradle
And will be born in a tomb;
I spent half my gestation
In my father's womb.

(9.30 a.m. 8 Feb, Lab B1.3)

I accidentally swallowed a nangka seed at the pasar malam yesterday at about 7-something in the evening.

Just now, at 4.00 p.m., I saw it again.

Looks like the cycle takes a little less than 20 hours.

Interior of the 3rd cubicle on the 3rd floor of the boys' block at 3rd College. For quite a long time it was my favourite cubicle until the 1st surpassed it in consistency of reliability.

There is a sense of 12th College-ness about the 3rd cubicle with its now headless shower.

Whoaaa. I'm picturing the nangka going through your intestines and what nots. Scary. :/
