Borrowed

When I consider how my light is spent,
Ere half my days in this dark world and wide,
And that one talent which is death to hide
Lodged with me useless, though my soul more bent
To serve therewith my Maker, and present
My true account, lest He returning chide;
"Doth God exact day-labor, light denied?"
I fondly ask. But Patience, to prevent
That murmur, soon replies, "God doth not need
Either man's work or His own gifts. Who best
Bear His mild yoke, they serve Him best. His state
Is kingly: thousands at His bidding speed,
And post o'er land and ocean without rest;
They also serve who only stand and wait."

-- John Milton, Sonnet 19 'When I Consider How My Light is Spent'

What is three years worth?
A cycle to death from birth
The breath we borrow
Before tomorrow
We return to the earth.

And I heard 'em say, nothing's ever promised tomorrow today.

-- Kanye West, 'Heard 'Em Say'

Time really flies by so fast.Where did the 3 years go? I can still remember the Famous Ipoh Trip in your first year... =P

So what's next? :-)

Yup, it was an unforgettable trip.

The next chapter is still pretty much misty, but one thing is quite certain: I will be paying our dear Pendek friend a visit in July/August.

Come for my convo! First week of August.
